I would be delighted to get to talk to you on your podcast. I am all about building relationships and that is at the heart of how I view my role as a podcast guest - building an authentic relationship with you and your audience. My background is in all things spiritual - but I also lean heavily on my sense of humor and am causal (sometimes irreverent!) in my tone and approach. I enjoy teaching how to care for themselves more wholeheartedly and be in touch with their spiritual and emotional selves. Here's a sample list of topics for conversation: Spirituality Spiritual Practices Faith Crises / Spiritual Distress Religious Toxicity Existential Meaning Making Empathy & Listening Compassion Fatigue Self Care Grief & Loss Death & Dying Chaplaincy Advance Care Planning Vocational Discernment Professionally, I wear many hats, but all of them involve me providing emotional and spiritual support in some way. As a writer, I seek to educate others about spiritual practices. I share stories from my work as a hospital chaplain in the hopes that it helps normalize grief and allow people to live more fully in the moment. As a spiritual director, I journey with people over time to listen deeply to what the divine is doing in their lives. I have helped others figure out rituals that speak to them, especially those who have grown up in religions that no longer fit. I'm also an ordained Presbyterian Minister (very progressive and sometimes I curse!], Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Reiki practitioner, Hospital Chaplain and Seminary Professor. You can read more about my background here and I look forward to hearing from you about how we can work together!
